Dark falafel everywhere else. Blonde here.
Most falafel in this city is fried dark. Aboulziz built its name on the opposite: the 'blonde' falafel — pulled from the oil at gold, not brown — crisp, pale and light enough to argue about. Three branches later (Hamra, Sodeco, Dawra), the blonde one is still the reason people cross town, and still costs less than a taxi there.
★ 4.3 on Google, 76 reviews — “clean quality food, super cheap,” as one regular put it. The blonde one earns its keep.
