Ramadan Juice has been squeezing on Ghobeiry Square, on the airport road side of Beirut, since 1987. The formula has not moved: a wall of fruit, a row of blenders, and cocktails layered with ashta, cream and nuts.عصير رمضان عم يعصر على ساحة الغبيري، من جهة طريق المطار، من سنة 1987. المعادلة ما تغيّرت: حيط فواكه، صف خلاطات، وكوكتيلات مطبّقة قشطة وكريما ومكسرات.

It is the kind of counter that serves schoolkids in the morning, taxi drivers at midnight, and whole families in the hours between.
